There is no way to turn off the features after looking into the manual. While I was driving on the Interstate, my wheel jerked to the right towards the off ramp when I heals it straight. It was fighting me. Another time a bus was pulled to the right in front of me to pick up the people, and my car abruptly braked despite being in the clear and having pushing on my accelerator. But my vehicle jerked into the left lane over the right when I made a right turn from a stop, nearly causing me to be rear ending by traffic. As I was driving approximately last week, my car made a complete harsh stop at approximately over 30mph causing me to have severe neck and head pains that have only been increasing since. I was in the clear from the car that was to my right at the intersection. My car had also jerked to the left lane instead of the right lane when I was stopped making a right turn using my turn signal. And also, I noticed that my settings would reset when I program them. No other person messes with my settings on the dash. I have a schedule to get my neck and head checked due to increasing pains.

Hi, I bought a new Camry 2025 XSE hybrid from Dan Cava Toyota, Fairmont, WV. The Toyota company says 47 mpg. However, I filled complete tank 3 times and each time the odometer showed estimated 430-440 miles for 13 gallons, which is equal to 34 mpg. As a customer, I feel I am cheated by Toyota company. I bought this Camry only for a better mileage and safety. Please let me know what I should do. Thank you very much. Left Headlight Issue - Roadway Shadows This report is based on multiple observations of the car's owner while driving a Toyota Camry hybrid 2025 at night time . At issue is that the left side LED headlight projects fixed black shadows onto to roadway, partially obscuring the driver's view of the roadway while driving. On 2 dealer visits, the dealer found the left headlight misaligned, and reported making adjustments to the left headlight. Despite these adjustments, the car owner continues to observe persistent roadway shadows from the left headlight while driving at night - based on car owner photographs of these projected black shadows, most recent photos on December 5-16, 2025 ( see attached). On a 3rd visit to the dealer in December 2025, the dealer was provided with the owners photographs. Yet, the dealer restated its position that the Toyota Camry hybrid's left LED headlight is normal, even though this left headlight has required 2 adjustments and roadway shadows persist. Unknown whether or not the headlight has/had a defect issue. In fact, the car owner's multiple photographs document and show fixed black shadows projected on the left roadway in front of the car, emanating from the Toyota Camry's left LED headlight.

I was driving up a steep driveway inside a parking garage. While turning a corner, the accelerator pedal began pulling away from my foot, and the car started speeding up on its own. I managed to apply the brake to stop the vehicle. I checked to see if there was anything near the pedal, like a mat, but there wasn’t. No indicator lights were on. This is the first time the car has exhibited this issue. The vehicle has not yet been inspected but is available for inspection.

Several times when I have honked my horn on my 2025 Camry SE cruise control has engaged. That is a dangerous situation if I'm trying to avoid a slow vehicle or accident and the vehicle goes into cruise control mode. Not sure what Toyota can do about this as the cruise control buttons are on the right side of the steering wheel behind the horn. Maybe it is overlapping or too close. There are auto braking cruise control options with the Camry but there is also a disengage non control mode that could lead to that accident.

While driving the vehicle in high winds, wind and air can be heard entering the cabin near the front of the drivers side door. Multiple heavy gusts of wind caused the car to move into the other lane and had a negative effect on steering the vehicle. This reports night-time driving experiences, during which the front left LED headlight projects/creates fixed black “shadow” images onto the roadway in front of the car, partially obscuring the driver’s far left field of view of the roadway. Despite adjustments of the front left headlight by dealer technicians, the left headlight “shadows”, while lessened, are still projected onto the roadway and represent a night time driving safety concern. Dealer technicians made adjustments to the left headlight projection on 2 occasions. (1 the technician reported that there seems to be “bubbles” in the left side headlight projection. Technician adjusted the left headlight’s aim to proper height. Technician reports that “shadow” on roadway is a normal characteristic of LED projector inside headlamp. (2 the technician reported that the left driver side headlight is slightly high and needed to be properly aligned. Technician reports that “shadow” marking on roadway is considered normal.

The front bumper of the vehicle is falling off, it seems to be too heavy for the vehicle. I went to the dealership and was informed this is a common reported issue with the 2025 Toyota Camry but as there is no open recall the warranty is unable to provide any assistance. This is a safety hazard and the bumper could fall off during anytime and cause a serious hazard and or accident can occur. I informed the dealership that due to the falling bumper the bottom has scrapped and caused damage and they continued stating there was nothing they could do. lm left with an issue that is dangerous for me and my family.
- 12/02/2024· EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Low beam headlights are projected too low and it is difficult to see past ~20ft. Field of vision is significantly decreased (~5ft) on downhills or any significant road slope. No accident has occurred yet but it is very difficult to see ahead in the dark without using high beams; turning on high beams is not appropriate in many situations. Dealership was unable to do anything to align headlights. Potential headlight design flaw such as tolerances or assembly proceedures may have created this problem. This issue is unsafe because low beam light projection provides the driver a field of vision critical for safely driving in the dark. Issue has been present since vehicle purchase in May 25th, 2024.

Front Bumper Fitment Issue: The front bumper clips fail to secure the bumper properly, causing a noticeable gap between the bumper and the body, particularly around the headlight and fender. Despite visiting my local dealer today (10-11-2025), they have confirmed that this is a known issue, but no permanent solution has been provided. The bumper misalignment negatively impacts the aesthetic quality and structural integrity of the vehicle. This problem has been reported by multiple 2025 Camry owners and persists even after the bumper is replaced. It is evident upon delivery and has not been fixed by Toyota or the dealership to date. Rear Seatbelt Warning Malfunction: I experienced a malfunction with the rear seatbelt warning system. The warning alert activated while the vehicle is in motion, falsely indicating that an unbuckled passenger is in the backseat, even when the rear seats are empty. At my dealership visit in August, I was told that this was a normal characteristic of the vehicle, triggered when rear doors are opened or closed without the seatbelt being clicked in. However, this explanation does not account for the behavior I am experiencing, where the warning is erroneously triggered while the vehicle is moving. This malfunction undermines the reliability of Toyota's safety systems, and I request that Toyota investigate it thoroughly. I would also appreciate guidance on how to disable or adjust the rear seatbelt reminder in the meantime, if that is a viable solution.

I purchased the vehicle on 8/30/2025 in the early afternoon and later in the evening once it was getting dark I noticed the low beam headlights on my vehicle only provide a range of approximately 50 ft. ahead, making it very difficult to drive at night to observe anything in which could be in the roadway. I took the car into the Toyota dealer on 9/27/2025 which they adjusted the headlights slightly higher which did not help. I contacted them which they replied they cant adjust any higher. This a major safety issue with this model which needs corrected, its impossible to see at night without using the high beams blinding oncoming drivers.

While driving my 2025 Toyota Camry, the infotainment/navigation display screen (center console multimedia system) will randomly and sporadically shut down completely, leaving the screen blank without warning. This has happened multiple times, including while I was backing up and relying on the backup camera, creating an unsafe situation by eliminating visibility. When the screen goes blank while driving, I lose access to navigation, vehicle settings, and other safety-related features, which increases the risk of distraction and potential accidents. There are no warning lamps, error messages, or symptoms prior to the failure and it occurs suddenly. I reported the issue to my Toyota dealership, and they acknowledged it as a factory issue, but I have not been given a timeline for a fix, which has been very frustrating. The vehicle is still available for inspection upon request. I have also seen numerous reports online from other 2025 Camry owners experiencing the same issue, which suggests this may be a widespread defect.

System operates normally on initial speed setting, when the brake pedal is applied which cancels the cruise control (which is normal) problem arises when resetting the cruise control, by pressing the + R in order to re-set the cruise control, nothing happens, so I have to press the button again to re-engage the system. The problem is intermittent but it always seems to happen when there is a car behind me.

Defect description: The front bumper cover clips located directly under the headlights on my 2025 Toyota Camry XSE are loosening and detaching. This creates a visible gap between the bumper and the body panels. The condition appeared during normal use and has persisted. No collision damage or aftermarket modifications are involved. Safety risk: If the clips continue to loosen, the bumper cover could detach further while driving. At highway speeds, this creates a risk of the bumper separating from the vehicle, potentially becoming road debris and causing a hazard to me and other motorists. Manufacturer response: My Toyota dealership has confirmed this is a known issue, but reported that Toyota currently has no available repair procedure or timeline for a fix. Toyota corporate has also documented my vehicle as affected but cannot provide a remedy. Reproducibility: The defect is visible at all times and worsens gradually with normal driving vibration.

While parallel parked in front of a school, I exited the parking space and entered the roadway. I was straightening the vehicle after exiting the parking space and had my foot on the brake. When I lifted my foot from the brake, before I intentionally applied the accelerator, the vehicle began accelerating. There was no noticeable jerking or lurching. The acceleration was smooth and continuous, as if the accelerator pedal had been pressed. I immediately applied the brake and was able to regain control of the vehicle. This was an unexpected acceleration event and was extremely concerning because I was in a school zone/student pickup area. Had this occurred only a few minutes later, there would typically have been lots of pedestrians, primarily children, in the immediate area. Although there was no collision or injury, I believe the unexpected acceleration created a serious safety hazard. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the Toyota dealer. I have an appointment scheduled for this afternoon (8/26/26 @ 2pm EDT). I will provide NHTSA with the dealer's findings when available. I hear cracking, flexing and popping coming from the frame/glass from my panoramic sunroof. I am worried for my safety that my roof is going to blow off or collapse when I'm driving. My vehicle was have been at the dealership for atleast 26 full days and many other trips to the dealership. I first brought. I first brought up the rattling on XXX and again on XXX they had it all day that day. I redropped it off XXX and smart toyota had it until XXX. I brought the car to the dealership many times after that. Dropped off my car at smart toyota on XXX and toyota had it until XXX. Every time toyota had my vehicle, they told me, they could not hear the sound or replicate it even though it does it very frequently. On XXX i stopped at the dealership because it was making the sound and had them go on a test drive with me. On the test drive, I drove with two other people from smart toyota, onto [XXX], i took her right onto veterans memorial, and at the roundabout, I took a left, and then I took her right out, the casino and back on to the veterans, and then I turned back onto [XXX]. On our way back to the dealership, I pulled into the parking lot of the davenport public library, where I heard the sound very apparent earlier that day. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, it made it, so I just kept turning in. And out of each lane so they could continue hearing it. I went back to the dealership I was told I'd be contacted within the week, it ended up being 3weeks. And I had to stop in because nobody answered my phone calls. I had an arbitration hearing on XXX. Toyota fabricated a story and said that the only time it made the sound was when I went over rumble Strips, and saying i went over a curb. I did not go over a curb. And none of the roads I went on, have rumble strips at all they fabricated a lie to not fix my car. All of the issues on my car started when my car was below 10,000 miles INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
