The contact owns a 2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the vehicle, and the interior sunroof glass panel shattered. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer and remained with the dealer for additional repairs. The repairs were made as per the insurance provider. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.

The contact stated that while driving 68 MPH, there was an abnormal banging sound coming from the vehicle and the contact pulled over to the right side of the road and exited the vehicle. The contact became aware that the sunroof was open, and the sunroof frame was damaged. Neither the dealer nor an independent mechanic was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 22,000.
