Some final remedy owner letters were mailed October 31, 2024. Letters will continue to be mailed in phases through January 2026. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. I RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL FROM LEXUS SOMETIME LAST YEAR, ALTHOUGH I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHEN. THERE IS NO DATE ON ANY OF THE INFORMATION THAT WAS SENT TO ME, BUT I BELIEVE IT WAS SOMETIME LAST SUMMER. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO MY CAR, YET, BUT I DON'T BELIEVE A "SAFETY" RECALL NOTICE SHOULD TAKE MONTHS AND MONTHS TO BE FIXED. WHEN I GOT THE NOTICE, I CALLED MY LEXUS DEALERSHIP AND ASKED WHEN I COULD EXPECT MY CAR TO BE FIXED AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD GET THE PART AND WOULD LET ME KNOW. I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. THIS RECALL IS FOR A LOW PRESSURE FUEL PUMP WHICH COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING. TO CONFIRM, SO FAR NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TO MY CAR. NHTSA NO. 20V-682 I AM PUTTING TODAY'S DATE IN THE AREA OF "WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN".
