I have a safety recall on my vehicle. It is for the rearview camera on my Mustang. Safety Recall Notice 22S06/NHTSA Recall 22V082. We took the vehicle to the dealership for diagnostic and then back again for repair in October 2022. The service department replaced the wiring harness but did not replace the camera. The wiring wiring. Less than a month the camera failed again and I harness point of failure was due to the trunk lid closing on the wiring which I believe has also compromised the camera due to inconsistent connectivity due to faulty am being told by Ford that I would have to pay out of pocket to get this camera replaced. This is very unsafe when backing up and puts me at risk for a crash. Ford's failure to address this safety hazard should be reviewed by National Traffic and Motor Vehicle department. Can you please help me?

At times the trunk does not open. It is unsafe to put anything in the trunk because you do not know when it will open and not open. I was told without the trunk opening you have no access to the spare tire. I case of an accident you can end up stranded without access to the spare tire. This is a reoccurring and ongoing problem. AS OF TODAY 10-25-17 I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ADDITIONAL AIRBAG PARTS NEEDED TO CORRECT THE FAULTY PARTS. THIS HAS BECOME VERY INCONVENIENT BECAUSE KNOW THE AIRBAG IS UNDER RECALL AND HAS PROBLEMS HAS INSTILLED A DEGREE OF FEAR IN BOTH MY WIFE AND I. MY WIFE HAS NOT WANTED TO RIDE IN THE CAR WITH A FAULTY AIRBAG ON HER SIDE OF THE CAR, WHICH I REALLY CAN'T BLAME HER. MY LAST VISIT TO THE DEALERSHIP RESULTED IN MY ASKING FOR THE FORD PARTS AND SERVICE MANAGERS INFORMATION WHICH I WAS DENIED, I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE DEALERSHIP GENERAL MANAGER AT AUTONATION FORD, 6850 HWY 121, FRISCO TX 75034, 972-335-5014, WHO NEVER ANSWERS HIS PHONE NOR RETURNS ANY PHONE MESSAGES. THIS IS VERY UNFORTUNATE FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED BUT MAINLY THE CUSTOMER WHO IS TECHNICALLY DRIVING A TIMEBOMB. MY WIFE IS REFUSING TO RIDE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT IN THE CAR FOR FEAR OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN IF WE WERE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, THE DEALERSHIP WON'T TALK ABOUT IT AND FORD HAS INSTRUCTED THE DEALERSHIPS NOT TO SHARE THEIR CONTACT INFO. OVER A ONE YEAR PERIOD OF TIME IS MORE THAN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME TO GET A CORRECTED PART FOR THIS CAR.

OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS MY PASSENGER DOOR COMES AJAR AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I HAVE NOTED THERE IS A RECALL FOR 2015 MODELS FOR THIS ISSUE ALSO BUILT AT THE FLAT ROCK PLANT. I ALSO NOTE THAT MANY OWNERS OF SIMILAR MODELS ALSO NOT INCLUDED IN THE OPEN RECALL ARE ALSO HAVING THE SAME ISSUES. WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO MAKE FORD RECALL MORE MODELS? A CHILD FALLING OUT OF A MOVING CAR ON THE HIGHWAY?

I AM UNABLE TO UNLOCK MY DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE. I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN, CONSIDERING I AM A SINGLE WOMAN LIVING IN THE CITY. THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN WITH THE HANDLE OR THE KEY FOB. I HAVE TO WALK AROUND TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AND REACH THROUGH THE VEHICLE TO OPEN THE DOOR. WHEN TRYING TO RESEARCH THE ISSUE, I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL FORUMS WHERE OTHERS ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. MY 2017 FORD MUSTANG HAS HAD SEVERAL ELECTRICAL ISSUES THAT HAS NOT MADE IT TO THE RECALL LIST. SUCH AS THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM, THE BACK UP CAMERA, AND THE CONNECTIVITY OF THE USB PORT AND SYNC. I AM NEED OF ASSISTANCE IN GETTING THE ISSUE WITH MY DOOR FIXED. I KNOW THAT IT ISN'T A SAFETY ISSUE SUCH AS A RISK WHILE DRIVING, ALTHOUGH, IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR MY SAFETY WELL BEING.
